After building a hype for several years, Fisker said it was almost ready to bring his sea SUV to the market. In the Los Angeles Motor Show, the car maker launched a variant that intends production from all electric vehicles and said it plans to start the pilot production this week at the Magna-Steyr facility in Austria. According to Fisker, full-scale manufacturing will begin a year from now on, with the following shipment shortly afterwards.
As previously announced, the ocean will start at $ 37,499 in the US before federal and state level subsidies. Fisker will offer SUVs in two additional trim. It will sell ultra sea for $ 49,999 and Ocean Extreme for $ 68,999. The basic level sports model displays a motorbike 275 single horsepower capable of speeding up the car from zero to 60 miles per hour in 6.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the ultra double motor model displays a total output of 540 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds. The slightly stronger extreme can resolve the achievement in 3.6 seconds thanks to 550 horse workers.
Fisker has not distributed the right battery capacity of each model but estimates the sports trim will have the ability to go 250 miles with once charging. At the top, extreme variants will display a range of 350 miles. The extreme model will also come with a solar roof which Fiscer said can add up to 2000 miles of reach. In the cabin, the ocean has an all-vegan interior made of recycled fish nets, old t-shirts and new rubber. Another additional nifty is a 17.1-inch touch screen display that can rotate between portrait orientation and landscapes.
With a year before the ocean began to walk to consumers, there was still a long time waiting before the SUV arrived. However, so arriving, the ocean will be available for sale globally.
