The conversation mode debuted at Echo the third gen showed 10, and Amazon rolled it over the next few weeks. It’s an opt-in feature, and you can turn it on by saying “Alexa, join this conversation.” Anyone in the room will be able to talk to the sound assistant, as long as they see the screen and smart screen camera can see it.
