The latest version of the Google Message application seems to fix the old problem for Android users: Finally displays the reaction sent through the Apple iMessage correctly. As reported by 9to5 Google, the application now changes the papacks into emojis.
Until now, the message has converted the Tapback into the text “Fallback”. So, if the Android user sends a message to the iPhone owner who reads “See you in ten?” And my iOS friend uses a thumbs up, the message shows the response as the own text line (i.e. “likes ‘to meet in ten?'”). It often makes conversations much faster than they need, especially in group chat.
Google brings emoji reactions to messages on android devices compatible with RCS last year, but there are some differences from iOSAPBACK. While Apple uses liver icons, “ha ha” labels and other punctuation, Google uses emojis. So, the Android application appears to change the heart to the face with the eyes of the heart, “ha ha” to the face laugh and so on. Some nuances may get lost in translations, but still much cleaner than the previous Google method that displays Papacks.
The word change first appeared through 9to5 to google in the latest message beta. Google now launches updates. We are not enough on the stage where the iMessage is on Android, but at least Google plays a little better with iOS.
